Decisions made on instinct

"Stefano, we agreed that the furniture will be light, right?"

"Of course, Chiara. We’ll need to see the color of the stones once the plaster is removed, but I’d say we should go for absolutely light colors."

When we bought, almost without thinking, deciding "on instinct" because we immediately loved a dark-colored kitchen with a strictly black countertop (because "it gives an elegant tone to the environment"), we had a good laugh in the parking lot of the furniture store.

All our good intentions to stick to soft and neutral colors were lost in front of a Stosa kitchen, model "Mood," on display in Fiorenzuola, where the good Pier won us over with a project he had drawn strictly by hand, with plenty of colored markers.

With the start of the renovation work, April also brought with it the choice of flooring, tiles, and sanitary fixtures.

Our budget spreadsheets are starting to include a few "extra" items because... "it’s too beautiful not to have it, and we’ll work harder to be able to pay for it!"

And so, the first major concession was a free-standing bathtub that will surely give the environment a retro and romantic touch.
